PRS SE Single Cut Soapbar |
Detail :The Paul Reed Smith PRS SE Soapbar is a classy looking, solid
mahogany, single cutaway electric guitar with a set, wide-fat
mahogany neck, 22-fret rosewood fingerboard, moon inlays, and
two specially designed single coil soapbar pickups for a
classic vintage sound. Controls include tone & volume knobs
and a 3-way selector switch. The SE soapbar is also fitted with
a chrome, PRS-designed stoptail bridge and PRS tuners. Includes
a PRS gigbag.
A Soapbar pickup is a common nickname for a P90-style
single-coil pickup that resembles a small, rectangular bar of
soap. The P90 was Gibson's first successful single-coil pickup,
created in the '50s, and has subsequently been utilized on
guitars from several manufacturers. Soapbar pickups's are known
for high output for a single coil and biting treble
response. |
